1: The point of hopeless rescue in the long dark is to find a flare gun then get to the lighthouse and fire the flare into the sky and get saved but its kind of hard when you have to survive in the cold with wolves and bears chasing you.

2: I ran through the forest collecting sticks for a fire.

                                                                               

 I ended up finding a little fishing hut.

Then i found a house with a fire place in it.  

 Apparently cups can float.

 I then found a hunting tower with nothing in it and then a wolf came up behind me and killed me.

Today i looted a couple houses and went fishing.

2: What did you do today?

i went and for some reason collected old man's beard, walk through the forest and found a hunter's hut which contained a bow and an arrow, then i went through a train tunnel and on the other side i found damaged train carts, then i died.

3: What is charcoal for? You can use charcoal to to mark where you've been to help navigate through the cold wilderness.

4:Do you have any survival tips? My one and only tip is to not anger the bears.
